Windows 10: New computer, can't exit S mode

Just got a new laptop and cannot get it out of S mode. Most instructions I've found are over a year old. I've updated everything possible appstore, etc and everytime I try the "get" button it says something went wrong and try again.

I suggest you to try the below steps to exit from the Safe mode on Windows 10.

Steps to place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

• Does the issue occur when exiting the games from windowed mode?

After I was forced to update on 4/27, my computer will not let me exit Safe Mode.

• Which KB update was installed on your computer?
• What happens when you try to exit from safe mode?
• Are you getting any error message?

I suggest you to follow the steps to come out of Safe mode as below and check if it helps.

• Log in to safe mode.
• Press "Windows" + "R" key.
• Type "msconfig" and select "Boot" tab.
• Uncheck "Safe boot" and select "OK".
• Now restart your device. Your device will boot in normal boot.
