Windows 10: New Computer, custom shop build, lots of crashing

Got a build from microcenter recently, EVGA 3080 FTW3 12gb, MAG X570S Tomahawk motherboard, and some Corsair Vengeance 3600 RAM, seemed to function fine, then while playing 40k Daemonhunters, started getting FREQUENT crashes, and then a gpu crash.Tried messing with Precision X1, and changed some settings, but got sidetracked, went to Remnant from the Ashes, started fine, then more crashing, sometimes multiple times in less that 5 minutes, then 2 GPU crashes with it, decided to test it with Cyberpunk, 2 crashes in less that 10 minutes, no GPU crash.Finally, played WarThunder, which if you play

Maybe starting an online custom computer shop? you think it'll work? advice?

i suggest designing your own cases, i have an excellent design in my head, but it would take a lot of skill and money to build it.
you can sell custom cases, they go for a lot of $$$

 

Custom build computer for graphics

Hi all,

I'm trying to build and order custom computer and like to have you pro opinion and advice.
My main computer usage is graphics, namely Photoshop. I'm not really a big gamer *Frown

Here are bunch of questions I have:

1. what is good place to order custom build desktop (I have a bit of fobia to put a computer myself)
2. I read lots of great feadback about Matrox cards for graphics. Majority of those custom build shops don't have this cards. Please see the question 1.
3. I know I need fast CPU, lots of memory (4G) and storage (500GB-1TB), but I hardly imagine specifics like what's good motherboard, case, power supply, etc. Please feed me w/ those details.

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:
