Windows 10: New Computer - Running Win 11 - Now Virtually All Videos Are Having To 'LOAD'

This was never a problem with Windows 10. Now Youtube, Rumble, and videos on numerous other sites all have to LOAD an average of 10 - 15 seconds before playing. Computer is also a brand new Lenovo.It's dial-up deja vu!!!After first purchasing this computer, none of this was happening. Only after I completed minor UP sizing to the default Windows 11 diamond type font size, 'Settings' in Duck Duck Go, and telling Firefox to remember Logins and Forms info, did all this Windows 11 SLOWING of all video playback begin.Any ideas?Thanks

Load this checklist video in Edge: (I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier) Go through the list of suggestions here to try to repair YouTube for Chrome...

 

geforce experience takes an age to load..

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

 

Can't get Youtube to show videos in Chrome

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.
