Windows 10: "New" context menu filled with unwanted items from UWP apps

Discus and support "New" context menu filled with unwanted items from UWP apps in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I've recently installed WPS Office from Microsoft Store and it filled the "New" section of File Explorer's context menu with bunch of unwanted files...     "New" context menu filled with unwanted items from UWP apps


    I've recently installed WPS Office from Microsoft Store and it filled the "New" section of File Explorer's context menu with bunch of unwanted files types. I tried using NewShellHandler and NewShellSettings to remove those items, however both don't report those file types because they are registered in AppxManifest.xml of that UWP app and not in the registry. Does anyone have any idea to get rid of them? This is all that ShellNewHandler reports:This is how the context menu looks, as you can see it's filled with stuff and I'm not going to use most of it, I've looked at the AppxManifest.xml and

    The venerable New Menu Editor lets you remove and add items:

    while Nirsoft's Shellmenunew gives you more options and complete access:

    Unwanted Context menu item

    Another option might have been Nir Sofer's excellent ShellExView, which shows Shell Extensions installed on Windows (in many cases, these drive context menu stuff) and lets users enable or disable them.
