    Have a new Dell desk top. HP printer, not fancy or sophisticated. Worked together fine until we had to get a new modem from Xfinity. Now the printer is not recognized by the computer, or iPhone or iPad, so nothing will print. How can we get the modem to allow the printer and computer to connect?     AFTER XFINITY MODEM UPDATE REPLACEMENT PRINTER IS OFFLINE

    I connected a new Xfinity modem and now my Officejet Pro 6968 printer is offline. How do I get it back on line. I have run trouble shooter etc to no avail.

    Wifi Connection using Xfinity modem

    Having problem connecting or holding wireless connection. Some devices like TV have a wireless connection. Others like windows laptop or kindle can't get a connection. Error message on Kindle is --authentication problem. Problems started when wifi could not connect to android cell phone. Got Xfinity to fix that I believe by reconnecting modem with password. I can connect my laptop if I hard wire. Xfinity maintains they fixed problem on their end now its a problem with my devices. I have tried to reconnect network adapter with not luck. Since I have been having intermittent connection with Xfinity could it be my 6 month old Xfinity modem? Any other suggestions for a non tech savy user.

    Error message for printer after new modem installed

    After installation of a new modem with router from Spectrum by a Spectrum technician, I can no longer print. My laptop has a working wireless connection to modem/router. Printer had an Ethernet cable to old router. Now when I look in "Devices ..." in
    the laptop, the printer appears but "Error" appears below it. This happens both with cable from new modem/router to printer and wirelessly. I try to add it to the network but that doesn't work. What do I do? Step by step if possible. It is a Dell 1235cn
