    Frame rates may drop on some DirectX 9 games at high fps (>120fps) after installing Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

    Since installing the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the average frame rate of my DirectX 9 game has dropped when I play at high frame rates (e.g. > 120 fps) in full-screen mode. Is there something I can do to fix this?

    How do I unistall/reinstall directx on Windows 10?

    I have a HP Notebook PC with an Nvidia 850M



    So, here is the problem. Before upgrading from windows 8 to windows 10, most of my games at max setting had atleast 60 fps. After upgrading to Windows 10 games like NFS Most Wanted 2012 couldn't get past 45 fps. But my device still had Directx 11.

    After another windows 10 update, Directx was updated to Directx 12 and some games didn't even work and some games had graphics glitches like when some thing moves in the game, it is followed by some kind of particles.

    This happens when I get low frame rate suddenly.

    I don't even care about the frame rate anymore but i just hate this glitch/bug. This glitch makes it had to see when I am playing online games like Overwatch .

    And yes, I tried reducing the graphics...... It doesn't work

    I still get the same fps as i got at higher settings and still had that glith.

    Brink, do you know if the demos were done during the presentations and about where so we could watch the entire presentation.

    Watching the videos without some type of background as to what to look for is not as useful as knowing that information.
