Windows 10: new drive, cant reinstall win 11

Finally been able to get a new nvme drive and went to install from usb onto new drive but got the messagethis pc doesn't meet the minimum requirements windows 11from the install so have rebooted on older slower drive using current install of win11 to come and write this.obviously the only change is the newer drive.

• Are you trying to reinstall Windows 8 or Windows 10?
• If you already upgraded to Windows 10, were you able to create a new copy of the recovery drive?

So this is what worked, step by step.

Reboot

Drive is listed as E: in file explorer.

Drive not listed in Disk Management.

Insert DVD, it plays after short pause.

Disk management now shows Audio CD as E:

Right click, change letter to R: (while playing!)

Reboot.

Drive now shows as BD-RE drive as R: in File Explorer.

The bottom line is

- File Explorer does not provide for changing drive letter afics.

- Disk Management seems to need a disk to be in the drive for it to "see" the drive. I can't recall is this is Win 10 behaviour

I don't recall having any difficulty with this in Win 10 (its possible that the Win 10 default drive allocation was "after" my external drives; or I "just changed it").

win 10 to win 11 reinstall

MY Laptop was win 10 but i recieved the prompt to install the free win 11 install

The laptop needs to go in to the manf for repair

If they need to reinstall os it will be back to win 10 i assume

how do i get win 11 back

will i again get the prompt saying your elgible for free win 11 upgrade

is there a way to put the os on a flash drive and other stuff on a flash drive
