New Drive Not Being Able to Boot

Recently I have decided to upgrade my C drive to a much larger drive. I used Macrium Reflect to clone my C drive over to the new drive E Drive and it looks like everything worked properly although I'm having trouble booting into it. When I try changing the boot device in BIOS the new drive E Drive won't show up as a bootable drive. I have tried changing any possible boot setting but none of them seem to allow the E drive to be booted into. When I check in Computer Management the new drive E Drive statues says Healthy Basic Data Partition although the old drive I'm trying to replace say

    :)

  2. Can't boot from new drive

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not following you...

    • What are you suggesting I unplug? Other USB devices? Done, but made no difference. (Ethernet? Monitors? Don't think that'll help.)
    • Not sure I understand your partitioning advice?
    • Also unclear about SSD drivers; if there was a driver issue, wouldn't it had failed to work at all? (As mentioned, I am able to boot Windows from the new drive as long as the old one is still plugged in...and it works just fine as a secondary drive.)

  3. Reinstall Windows 10 to new hard drive

    Hi Rodolpho,

We want to know about the issue you're having with your recovery drive. Please answer the questions below:

    • Are you trying to reinstall Windows 8 or Windows 10?
    • If you already upgraded to Windows 10, were you able to create a new copy of the recovery drive?

We suggest creating a new copy of the recovery drive and then follow the steps provided by Andre Da Costa above this thread.

Update us with the outcome so we can assist you further.

    Suggestions for Maps/Drive

    Some more suggestions

    - When you set a destination in drive, you should be able to set an address which is existing in the contact list

    - You should be able to view all step by step navigations. right now you are not able to see complete direction steps.
