Windows 10: new file appeared on my computer with a bunch of videos, i have no knowledge of them

Hi, i just went to clear out some space on my computer and found 19 videos in my quick access which i did not take, there is now a new file location called E:\DCIM\VIDEOS, i can’t open these videos as it says i don’t have access. The videos are named things like 230812_155731_111_RE I’ve googled and all i found was android/camera related stuff, neither of which i own, i’m a little concerned as i’m a teenage girl and don’t want a hacked laptop , any help is appreciated.i cannot figure out how to upload pictures here as it says file failed to load when i try.

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Video playback troubleshooter and check

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Video playback options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: I suggest you to copy the files from your computer to another working computer and check if you are able to access them.

This will let us know if the issue is with specific files types on your computer.

Batch Files Knowledge Base

Don't use batch files very much but one I find useful is for creating a list of files in a directory.
Just copy the text below into Notepad and save as Filelist.bat

dir /a /-p /o:gen >filelist.txt

When you run it from a folder it will create a Filelist.txt file,in the same folder, that lists all the files in that folder.Useful when you are too lazy to type all the files out yourself.
