    New files take a long time to appear


    W10 fully up to dateWhen for example I save a file from a program to desktop .. it takes ages for a file to appear .. 20-30secSame if I were on desktop and create a ‘new folder’ takes a long time to appear.Also when opening a file explorer window … Green progress bar can take up to a minute to complete left - right fill.Have tried the ‘reset folders’ option, makes no difference.Appreciate these may be unrelated issues.I have run fsc scannow no difference.For transparency … OS & Apps are on C;/ My filed data, pictures, documents, videos etc … are on D:/ the folder locations have been mov

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Time appears incorrectly (correct time but wrong appearance)

    Hi,

    This can happen if the Taskbar was not refreshed for a long time. To resolve your concern, we recommend that you reset the Taskbar by following the steps below:

    • Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC key to open Task Manager.
    • On the Processes tab, look for Windows Explorer.
    • Right-click Windows Explorer, then click Restart.
    • Wait for File Explorer to restart and see if Taskbar starts working again. Let us know if this method works for you.

    Refreshing the taskbar from time to time will prevent encountering this type of issue moving forward.
