Windows 10: "New Folder" keep reappearing on desktop

I have no idea what the hell even started this, i only know it begun after a couple of shutdowns yesterday The folder doesnt even have a custom name like "From Camera", it is literally just New FolderNo folder. no file, nothing. It have absolutely nothing in it, 0KB

Desktop file or folder reappears after a reboot.

Dear community,

I have a laptop running windows 10 Pro version 22H2.

My issue is the following, every time I create a file or folder on the Desktop, if I later delete it, it will reappear on the desktop after a reboot.

Some more info:

• Onedrive was installed but never configure, currently it's not installed.
  
• I'm able to removed the file/folder permanently if I boot in safe mode, delete it then reboot in 'normal' mode.
  

Any ideas which script is causing that issue ? Or what can be done?

Deleted folder shortcut keeps reappearing on desktop

Hello all. I recently deleted several shortcuts from my desktop. Now however, I'm having an odd issue. One of the deleted folder shortcuts keeps reappearing. I've deleted it the conventional way and with the "Shift+Delete key" method but to no avail. Someone told me it was OneDrive, but although I do have it installed, I've never used it. Any suggestions?

 

Folders keep reappearing


The script "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC.reg" has a major bug. The linked folders keep reappearing under This PC. This is what happens:

1. Quick Access and This PC both contain the Documents folder
2. The "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC.reg" script is applied
3. The linked folders disappear from This PC. Everything is fine.
4. I click the Documents folder under Quick Access, then double click a documents sub folder on the right panel.
5. The Documents folder reappears under This PC.

The idea of my setup is to have all common folders pinned under Quick Access, and none under This PC to avoid any duplicates. Is there any way to fix this?
