  1. New Geforce GTX 1060 - no signal - black screen

I removed my AMD Radeon HD 6570 and installed a Geforce GTX 1060 in slot #2 on my mobo. I set slot #2 to be the primary slot on the mobo, ran DDU, but still no signal. I'm currently using the onborad graphics. I don't know what to do next.

Win 10 Start Menu--can't move tiles around

I had the exact same problem after I installed a new version of the display driver for my MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. After I re-installed the older version of the display driver my Start Menu work again perfectly

Update - I switched from the DP and connected the UDMI cable and now it works. So now I'm wondering why the DP cable won't work with the graphic card and monitor, even though they both have the DP connectors.

If the monitor is set manually to use the HDMI input, you'll have to switch it to use the DP.

    (Just a wild guess.)

  6. Solved. I read on another forum that people were connecting their DP cable, unplugging their monitor for about a minute, plugging it back in and it would work. So i tried that and it worked. Go figure!!
