Windows 10: New GTX 1070 Display ports not working

Discus and support New GTX 1070 Display ports not working in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; Make sure you PCIE slots are set to "Gen 3" in the Bios and also make sure you have up to date cables!     How do I check for that? I have asus x370-pro with the latest BIOS (from January 2018).

    Check our Motherboard Manual , I think mine is in the System Agent>NorthBridge Area , you may also have the GPU Post info screen which will tell you what GPU is install and the X(mode) eg 8 or 16 etc it is in.

    Thanks. I look into the manual. Weird, cause I don't have System Agent. I have the screen with the GPU info, but that is it. I do not see anything else right now and I think I have looked every where in the BIOS. *Rolleyes
