  1. New hardware issue

So I just updated my motherboard and CPU and I made sure I purchased the correct version so that I would be able to change hardware at a later date when I first did this build. I even confirmed it with some research. However I just swapped out those two pieces of hardware and now I get stuck on the windows lock screen. It loads to my account like it should without me doing anything however it freezes there. It doesn’t respond unless I force shut down the system. However it does boot correctly in safe mode. I’m not seeing a lot online and I have spent a few hours already on this. Anyone have any ideas?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
