    Windows 10 messaging app can't send skype messages but can receive them.

    I am using the latest version of Windows 10 and I just found out about Messaging so your response would be consistent with my experience.

    Do you have reason to believe that Messaging will or will not be updated to be compatible with latest version of Windows 10?

    This new Skype app that you mention; is it the traditional Skype app? I have the Skype app but it doesn't have the simplicity and functionality that Messaging is supposed to have.

    Skype frequently not responding/crashing/freezing

    I'm running skype on my Acer Aspire Laptop in Windows 10 and I get the same problem; The laptop freezes whilst I am on a skype video call approximately 1 minute into the call virtualy every time.

    My only option at the moment is to switch off the lap top to reboot.

    This is an old problem I believe. It appears to have come back with the latest windows 10 update.

    I am running the same version of Skype on my desktop with a windows 7 platform without issues.

    If I am correct, I believe there is a new windows 10 trial version of Skype available that may solve the problem but I don't know how to get to it.
