On Windows 10.10240 Mail. Is anyone experiencing right pane shows a blank page (no text/html details) except the top of "From", "Subject" and "To"? I don't know whether it was caused by the recent updates or not but on Windows 10.10532 no such problem!

That is what I do, one should not have to do this with the best OS that has ever came out of Redmond. Oh and BTW there are times during an upgrade where my HD activity led is not doing anything and all I have is a Black screen. This did not even happen on Windows ME.*Cool

    New KB3081449, KB3081452, and KB3081448 Updates for Windows 8-27-2015

When I boot, I get a very brief flash of the manufacturer's logo, then the BIOS post screen, Then the blue screen with the Windows logo, then a brief black screen, then the "Please wait" screen with the spinning logo, then another brief black screen, then the login screen with my picture (I skip the lock screen), and finally the desktop. Am I concerned? Not in the slightest since the exact same things happened with 8.1 and also do on my Windows 7 laptop. The black screens are normal operating procedure as far as I'm concerned. I have never had nor seen a Windows machine that didn't have them.

Wow interesting may I ask just how long your computer takes to boot?? I don't see all those screens, some of them, but not that many.

  6. Updates installed and no problems to report. Like many others, I'd like to see more detailed information for at least some of the updates concerning just what they are intended to do.

From power button press to completely usable desktop with everything loaded, 80-85 seconds. If I go from after BIOS post to where the desktop first appears, 35-40. This is with a 7200 rpm hard disk, no UEFI, and fast boot disabled.

From restart I don't have any completely black screens, See my screen with my video card name, 1st screen, then to win logo, then to my pic and name, then desktop. about 28 to 32 sec's Cold reboot is not much different. About same speed. My HD is an ssd tho. You right about those 80 sec's for everything to quiet down once you reach desktop, EVEN with my SSD.
Opps forgot one more screen, right after 1st screen I see the HP boot menu......

  12. Got 3 problems to report after updating to 1448, 49 and 52. In the date and time settings, my country switch to USA and the time was 4 hours in advance on my desktop clock.

The third one is in Cortana: The weather is not shown anymore for the 2 cities that I set and pin to start. Instead it's a blue screen, the same one that appears when Internet switch is disable. But, If I click on them to go in full screen mode, I see them.

    New KB3081449, KB3081452, and KB3081448 Updates for Windows 8-27-2015

After 3081449 and 3081452 were installed, my desktop Windows 10 (a Dell Vostro) won't complete the boot. It stayed at the circular spin stage (right before the login box appears) forever. I had to revert to a restore point created on 8/23 to complete the boot.

Any suggestion what to do in the future? Can I permanently block these two patches from future updates?

    Thanks.
