Windows 10: New Keyboard - Hot key function key issue windows 11

Hi,I recently replaced the keyboard on my ASUS ROG GX501 laptop and i have an issue with the hotkeys / Functions keys and Windows 11.I believe the keyboard that was sent to me, from a seller in China, seems to be incorrectly labelled across the F1 to F12 keys i.e F1 is showing Zz, F2 an aeroplane etc which is what you would expect from a US keyboard not a UK one, anyways what i am trying to do is configure Windows 11 so that the function keys match that of the icons but as of yet unable to find a solution. I have tried to download ASUS hotkey, changed language to US Keyboard so a little stuck.

Function keys or hot keys are used by users to have quick access to certain functions such as volume change, display brightness, and etc. If it is not functioning properly, we suggest updating the keyboard drivers as an initial workaround and see if the

• Are the hot keys the only one not working?
• Can you use the keyboard for typing?

The function "Change language bar hot keys " has a bug.

We would like to know more about your concern. Kindly provide us more details by answering the following questions:

• When did you start encountering the issue?
  
• Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this issue?
  
• Were the hotkeys settings on your Windows 10 computer ever worked before?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you reconfigure your hotkeys settings by setting your key sequence to Not Assigned. To do this refer to the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Language > Advanced Settings.
  
• Under Switching input methods, select Change language bar hot keys.
  
• Select Between input languages, and then click Change Key Sequence.
  
• Set Switch Keyboard Layout to Not Assigned.
  
• Restart your computer.

Once you're done with the process, you may then proceed to reconfigure your language bar hot keys to your desired settings. You may follow the steps above and select your preferred keyboard layout.
