Windows 10: New Laptop Setup and Unable to Log In, Can you help me find a way to log into my laptop?

I have factory reset one of my old work laptops, I then went through the process of going through the setup and filling out the information. I set the laptop up as a work / school device and entered in my work email address and password note that this is not a microsoft email address, it is a company email address set up through GoDaddy. The laptop then allowed me to continue working through the initial setup process until I eventually got to the point where it requested that I sign in to the laptop. I then entered my email address and password as it requested and the laptop came back with "

We understand how difficult it could be and we appreciate the time and effort that you have taken to work this issue. However, in order to get clarity, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

1. Were you using the “Old email (account) address” regardless of not using laptop?
   
2. Are both the email addresses linked?
   
3. Could you please let us know, where exactly you get prompt for the password for the “Old email address” in the desktop?
   
4. What is the exact error message you get when you try to log in to laptop?
   
5. Does your desktop has two user profiles?
   

In the meantime, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.



You would need to have internet connection in laptop, so that the password change could get updated and it seems that the laptop is not connected to the internet, we would suggest you to connect Ethernet cable to laptop and then
try logging in to the laptop with the new password for the old email address.

New laptop can't log in

I bought a new laptop and wiped everything from the old one. When I was setting my new one I skipped logging in Microsoft account. Later, when I was asked to log in to my account I've just typed the old password but it didn't worked. Then with phone help
I've changed password but it still said that it is the wrong password. I can log in to my account on phone using the same email and password and it's working, but not on a laptop. Any suggestions?
