Windows 10: New laptop setup. Question about the step where it copies over from my previous laptop.

Have a new Windows 11 laptop I'm trying to set up. I get as far as the step where it asks if I want to copy everything over from my previous laptop and I have to hesitate. The thing is, I had my previous laptop for over ten years. It took me through three jobs and a couple years of college. It is probably 70% junk at this point. Lots of apps that I downloaded for work or school and used just once. Lots of games and other apps that don't work anymore or probably wont work on Windows 11. I don't want all this coming over with me. I DO HOWEVER WANT to keep my current MS Office and Chrome,

Confusing statement! You want to change the display on your laptop that died?

Is that correct?

How do you know its the display that's bad?

Just google "how to change display on a acer 5745"

Should get you to step by step instructions. But first make sure its the display that's bad
