Windows 10: New Laptop Switched back to 10 S mode after Switching out. Command Prompt Program Can't be...

Hello, I switched out of S mode fairly quickly after purchasing my new HP laptop. I have downloaded a few programs from some sources that are not necessarily IDEAL, but were programs I know have been used safely by others. I downloaded those LAST night and did not have any of these issues. Tonight, after opening my computer up to use one of these apps Discord, I discovered numerous pop-ups saying it and other programs couldn't run because I needed to switch out of S mode. As far as I'm aware, once you've switched, you're not supposed to be able to switch back.&nb

command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

I am repairing a laptop for a friend and I need to access windows in safe mode and the owner has forgotten the password to the main user. I tried logging on with the administrator profile in safe mode but it is not showing up so I was going to use command prompt in safe mode with command prompt but command prompt will not open when I boot that option. Does anyone have any hints for me to figure this out?

Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?

 

Switching out of S Mode

I am having trouble switching my laptop out of S Mode. I went through the steps that are listed, and the Windows Store is updated and it won't let me click Get when you go to the screen to switch out of S mode.
