    New laptop won't accept network security key


    I bought a new HP laptop, windows 11. I need an internet connection to begin setup. The network shows up, it won't accept the security key. I can't get beyond the internet setup phase to even use anything, no task bar or settings access.

    After Windows 10 update, signin screen won`t accept my pssword.

    Sign-in screen won`t take my password after Windows 10 update on a new HP laptop. I had setup a pin login but now asks for Microsoft password which I wrote down and have used before but will not accept now.

    Some tentative suggestions -
    1 Perhaps you mean the 'Security key' for a WiFi network?
    2 Perhaps you mean the 'Security key' for your router's Admin functions that is controlling your WiFi network?
    3 Perhaps you mean your Windows user account login 'password' or a 'PIN' that you have set it up to accept instead?

    Helping a friend set up new Dell laptop. Can't connect to the internet. When I go to internet access and select an available wi-fi it asks for the network security code. This is windows 10 and I've tried all the suggestions I've found with Google.
    I'm using my laptop to contact you guys. Can anyone tell me where I can find the security key?
