    New Laptop Won't Display Onto TV Screen


    I have an old laptop that displays just fine onto a 32" TCL Roku TV using an HDML cable. My new laptop does not. Both are Dell Inspiron 15. The 7 year old one is upgraded to Window 10 Home. The new one has Windows 11 S-Mode. How can I get the new one to work with the Roku TV? My old laptop is dying thus the new purchase and I need the larger, Roku screen to see what I'm doing.Getting the old laptop to connect was no problem. I'm doing the exact same thing with the new one and getting nada. Please help.

    I would like to note that step 20 comes up with no files. Perhaps this could be the source of the issues?
