  1. New machine rebooting shortly after boot, then stable after it restarts

I built my new machine this weekend and have been having an issue where my computer will completely lockup and turn off the usbs and screen. Once it restarts, it's fine from then on.

I thought it was an external usb3.0 hub I had attached to it, so I removed that, but the problem persists. I also unplugged and reinserted all the usb devices I have into different slots.

Any help would be appreciated. Specs below.

    Ryzen 7 3700X

    Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite

    Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600mhz

    MSI RTX 3080

    Creative Sound Blaster ZxR

    Asus Strix 850W PSU

    2x 1tb m.2

    2x storage drives

    2x 500gb SSDs

    :)

  2. PC Randomly Restarting after installing new Ram!

Tried your suggestions, but still had a restart! Also ran memtest overnight (13 hours according to memtest) and had no errors! Also ran Passmark Burn in test for a couple hours testing everything and had no errors or restart. Could fitting the new ram have triggered something to go bad like my mobo or psu?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  4. New machine rebooting shortly after boot, then stable after it restarts

reboot and select property boot device

You need to set your main Harddrive which has your Operating System on as the first harddrive to boot, if have more than one harddrive.

    open Bios
    boot priority
Select the OS harddrive as first boot drive , If not sure switch between them
Set correct time and date if wrong
    Save and reboot

If not sure on steps , give the Make and model number of motherboard and can assist you.

Hopefully no damage to the HDD
