  1. New Microsoft 2020 updates makes my laptop a lot slower and more confusing

So I paused an update since May 2020 and I resume it on Des 2020, I thought this will fix some of my hardware and devices issues, I updated it to 100%, Opened it with caution and big expectation just to look at everything goes down:

    - Cortana opened again

    - Almost every Microsoft Related Apps become slow

    - Can't even open some Apps

    - The upmost frustration, File Explorer won't load

So please to anyone, please give me a solution that can fix this monstrosity

    :)

  2. Updates Are Making My Laptop Slower

    Hi,

I want to ask a question regarding Windows updates. At first, let me list my laptop specs:

    Acer Switch 10

    Intel Atom Z3735F

    2 GB DDR3

    32 GB eMMC

    Intel HD Graphics (integrated GPU)

    Windows 10 Home (32-bit)

Usually, after a couple of months, I reset or reinstall my Windows to make my laptop fast again (I think this happens because the Windows have registry errors, corrupted or missing files, etc over time). One did I notice it is (as long as when I reinstall
it, I install the latest Windows edition, provided on Microsoft's official website) when I don't install Windows 10 updates, my laptop maintains its speed longer than if I install Windows updates. When I updated it, the boot time has been longer, and sign-in
progress about 2-3 times slower than before.

At first, I considered this may be a result of low disk space.

I do have another laptop (has 1 TB HDD and %80 of it is empty), which has Windows 10 and not updated, it maintains its speed. After that, I updated it to the latest Windows (not reinstalling), and its boot time starts to be longer and the applications are
    opening slower than before.

Is it only me or the main issue of Windows?

I hope somebody can explain this.

    Thank you.

  4. New Microsoft 2020 updates makes my laptop a lot slower and more confusing

Updates Are Making My Laptop Slower

Regarding the other laptop, the specs of it are:

    Asus X556UR

Intel i5-7200U (which is a lot stronger than Intel Atom)

    12 GB DDR3 RAM

    1 TB HDD

    Nvidia Geforce 930MX

    Windows 10 Home (64-bit)

One thing I noticed is, after updating my Asus laptop, it got slower a bit, but then when I switched my Nvidia Geforce 930MX to been used all the time instead of integrated graphics, the laptop gets faster. (I don't know if this is related to the problem)

One thing to add up; I use antiviruses on my laptop (currently using Eset). I think it's not a virus or malware related. Also when there is no free space on my Acer laptop, it gets really slow and yes, this is storage memory-related. I also think Windows
10 updates take more space than the first install (after reinstalling Windows and other programs, there is about 10 GB free space on my laptop, but after updating, it reduces up to 8 GBs more.)

I felt a little relaxed after reading "The more Windows receive updates and programs you install/use, the Laptop will response a bit slower with the time.", so I'm doing the right thing with resetting (reinstalling)
it every a couple of months, it's the most effective way to boost my laptop again.

    Thanks for helpings.
