New Microsoft Edge app version released for Android - April 4

Microsoft Edge is the fast, safe web browser that gives you one continuous browsing experience from your Android phone to your Windows 10 device. Once youve linked your phone, your stuff will sync in the background, so you can browse wherever you like without skipping a beat.

Thanks for using Microsoft Edge! Heres whats new in this release:

• Choose to sync your favorites, passwords and other data with the new Microsoft Edge or Microsoft Edge Legacy.
• Customize the layout of a new tab page.

Outlook Mail for Android

After more fiddling I decided to use Gmail since I can control the push frequency. I'm using Outlook for contacts and calendar which works provided you designate the Outlook account for contacts and enable synchronisation for contacts.

1. Android GMail app for IMAP accounts, Gmail & Outlook email. Installed Outlook app but only the Microsoft email account is enabled.
2. Built in Contacts app used linked to Outlook account as default
3. Android Outlook app used for Calendar and built in Calendar app disabled.
