  2. SSD won't boot on new motherboard

    Hi all,

I am trying to boot on a new motherboard/cpu from an old MBR-partitioned SSD with Windows 10 on it (CPU I9 Motherboard Biostar H310M). The SSD used to work just fine on my previous motherboard. My new motherboard is configured for both UEFI & Legacy boot. Weirdly enough, the SSD is only recognized on SATA 3 or 4, not on SATA 1 or 2. I have not done any bootsect repair yet.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

New motherboard and same SSD - Product key not working

    New motherboard

New motherboard and SSD installed. Windows 10 installed on SSD, old hard drive connected for storage. Old hard drive has previous windows install and key on it, upgraded from Win 7 to 10. Key is the default product key for Windows 10 Pro. Trying to activate new Windows install with this key only generates 0x803fa067 error code. Please advise.
