Windows 10: New mouse and Windows Snapping

My old mouse finally died and so I got a new mouse. I have two monitors and previously with the old mouse I would just drag a full screen window seemlessly over to the second monitor and double click the top bar of the window to make it full screen on the second monitor.

For some reason the new mouse behaves differently. When I click and drag a full screen window over to the second monitor, it pauses where the mouse touches the edge of the first monitor and I have to move it again in quick succession in order to move onto the second monitor.

How do I set it up so when moving full screen windows between monitors behaves the way it originally did with my original mouse?

Windows 10 snap does not work with mouse

I created a new account and the snap feature still did not work with the mouse. It does work with the windows and arrow keys.
