    New MS Edge icon alway disappears from start menu "Productivity" group


    Hi ,in the start menu, there's this group called productivity? In which Office 365, Edge, Mail, photos and to do are pinned. Constantly, the MS Edge icon always disappear leaving the title "Microsoft Edge" alone. That tile is blank. Is there a way to fix this?

    Start menu default internet acces icon screwed?

    You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

    I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

    IE11 in Windows 10 disappearing from start menu and taskbar

    I've noticed this over the past week, and a number of staff have complained about it.

    IE11 disappears from the taskbar and start menu. Even if we re-add it, it disappears a short while later.

    I've observed this on two separate networks that are not connected to each other in any way.

    as a workaround, I've had to create a group policy to re add the shortcut to the start menu, to stop it disappearing.

    has anyone any news or suggestions on this really annoying issue?

    we use a mix of Chrome and IE11, MS Edge is not popular at all and we have a number of apps that aren't compatible with Edge.
