Windows 10: New news App runs multiple language initialisation each time opened.

The news app appeared to get updated today. As with everything MS, it wants to draw you into using an MS account (I declined again) but it also runs through a weird initial opening routine where it rapidly displays what look to be multi language phrases in rapid succession. It does this each time it is opened. One of the words seems to be English (as far as I can see as it all happens rapidly) and says 'Actuate'.

None of the new apps will open

• Do you get any error message/code?

With regards to Start menu, I would suggest you to follow the steps:

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
  
• Click File > Run New Task
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
  
• Type CMD
• Type the following 4 commands at the CMD prompt:
  
  dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  
  sfc /scannow
  
  powershell
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  
• Close the CMD window

Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to
create a new user account and check if you still face the issue. To create it perform the steps mentioned below.

• Press Windows key + R key, Run window opens.
• Type control in the open box and clickOk.
• Control Panel windows opens.
• Click on User accounts and Family Safety.
• Click on User Account and then click on
  Manage Accounts.
• Now click on Add a new user and follow the instructions.

Now check if the issue persists in the new user account.

having problem of downloading new language

Hi I have Lumia 1520 with 8.1 update..i found cortana in my app list but couldn't open it.bczz evry time I make download the new language english(united state).and every time it showed me attention required.I am suffering this from 9 days.plzz help to
activet cortana and download the speech language enlish (united state).i really need help.i make all the right steps to activate cortana but its doesn't just bczz of unable language download.

  Open multiple apps that you want.

  Right click on the task bar.

  From the jump menu select Show all windows side by side.
