Windows 10: new outlook app for windows stopped receive new gmail messages

HiI am using new outlook app for couple of monthes now and every thing was ok.I have one hotmail account and two gmail accounts in the app nd all the accounts worked just fine until one gmail account stopped receving or sending emails while the othe two accounts continue to work normally.I tried to repair,uninstall and reinstall and reset the app with no success.Running the old mail app works fine.I don't know where new outlook stores it's data and nothing about using cloud storage for accessing gmail accounts.Any help to solve this problem will be appreciated.ThanksYahya

There is also the new outlook app which is kind of upgrade to mail app.

Now the mail app works fine for me but the new outlook app has the mentioned problem of not receving emails in one of the the gmail defined accounts.

outlook of the office works too just fine.

 

Add gmail account to outlook without text message verification?

A screenshot might help us identify whether it is MS or gmail that is responsible for this (my guess is gmail). The MS instructions you linked to say that no verification should be required if 2FA (in gmail) is off.

I suggest you turn on 2FA in gmail, and try again.
