Windows 10: New pc and can’t download wifi driver to my pc from usb.

Hey so I just built a new and installed windows 11 on it, now I tried to install drv_wifi_intel_tp_w11_64, I click run and than yes to make changes to my device but than pops up saying “does not support this operation system: wtnt_10.oh_64”. If anyone can help I’ll appreciate it very much. Thank you.

Connect USB Scanner and USB Printer via WiFi for home PC's

Hello All !

I am seeking for your advice in order to setup a configuration at home so that I could provide the ability to

• print on my old Samsung CLP-300 USB printer (no Wifi feature), and
• scan from my old Canon Lide 60 USB scanner (no wifi)

from the several Win10 computers I have at home -- those are not easily physically connected to those devices but are on Wifi.

I was thinking on some Rasberry Pi device to connect both printer and scanner to, and make them available via its Wifi to the PC's I have at home. Is that a crazy idea or has it a reasonable chance to work ? The aspect that scares me off quite a bit is the setup of these peripherals on the RasPi especially as some tailored Linux (Raspbian ?) is recommended and I seriously doubt to be able to find the adequate Linux drivers for my rather old peripherals... And I didn't buy the RasPi yet !

I could also use an old Win7 laptop as shared device I guess, but that would require managing that PC, power on/off, etc.

Wifi Driver Unable To install/Not even showing up in device manager

I have recently built a pc, and Wanted to connect to the internet. When I tried to, it said that there wasn't a network driver. So I downloaded a intel wifi driver for windows 10 64x(The one im using) and I installed the driver onto my new pc through a USB.

I followed the steps, and it said that the driver was successfully installed. However, when I tried to check the network driver list on device manager, there wasn't any drivers excluding my WAN drivers. I tried checking in hidden devices, but it wasn't there.

I tried downloading a intel legacy hardware network driver, but it showed the error 31 saying that the request is not supported.

I would like a way to fix this, as I need to connect to the internet to use my pc for its use.

 

Ubuntu Help? Drivers for WiFi and Graphics, etc.

1) What's the motherboard model and which USB ports? Regular 2.0 should work right away. Same goes for most older USB3.0 controllers on later boards.
If you have an older NEC(Renesas) USB 3.0 controller onboard - it should work out of the box, so as most AsMedia controllers.

2) Pretty much the same crap, as with my old ASUS PCE-N53... Gotta get the patched RTL8192 driver and manually install it.
The only problem you may encounter, is when you get a kernel update, you'll have to repeat the procedure again.

I've already suffered through several years of headaches with my N53(different chipset, same problem), so the long term advice - get one of the natively supported WiFi adapters instead.
