    New PC Build won't install Realtek Drivers on Windows 10


    Hello! I've built a PC with Ryzen 4 1600 processor and Windows 10. The install of Windows went smoothly, all drivers are up-to-date and functioning correctly; Except Realtek audio. I've downloaded the latest drivers and tried to install them (restarting the computer when prompted) several times, but when I open up Device Manager, it's not listed under 'Sound, video, and game controllers'. I can't troubleshoot any issues with my speakers or audio ports because the drivers won't even install. Any suggestions?

    Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
