Windows 10: New PC freeze/crash during gaming, but not during stress tests

My new PC freezes when playing fortnite and league of legends and cyberpunk, and makes me have to restart it sometimes restarts on it's own and sometimes i have to restart it manuallyI tried to stress the pc using AIDA64 extreme, stressing: CPU, FPU, cache, memory, local storage and GPU. and didn't freeze nor crash.I downloaded the drivers using armory crate asus and nvidia geforce experience.I tried playing rocket league as well, didn't freeze even though i played for like an hour.When playing fortnite it freezes during the first minute or two in the game, usually when something changes,

Freeze then watch dog timeout BSOD when stress testing

Whenever I performed a stress test with OCCT or Intel XTU or ran intel diagnostic utility, my computer would freeze then get BSOD with watch dog timeout. I did a new install of windows and now I can run the intel diagnostic utility without freezing and the CPU passes all tests. But I still get the freeze then watchdog timeout if running cinebench stress test, OCCT stress tests or Intel XTU stress tests. I ran the windows memory diag tool and memory checks out ok. I also bought a new PSU to ensure that wasn't the problem either. PC is stable when playing games - its just stress testing that I get the BSOD.

 

Freeze then BSOD when stress testing CPU

My computer crashes and I get the BSOD stating clock watchdog timeout after freezing when doing a stress test on my CPU - ram tests ok. I have checked the PSU - bought a new one and cooling and used different ram as well. All to no avail.

 

Game crashing all the time / PC freezes sometimes

Since about a month I have the problem that a game (Grand Theft Auto V) is crashing all the time. Sometimes the complete PC freezes too so that it displays the old image e.g. a few minutes ago (completely unresponsive, only restarting the PC helps). The time is not predictable, when it crashes. At one time it crashes after five minutes, another time it crashes after half an hour. But one thing is sure - it will crash.

I have contacted the Rockstar Support and they say they can't help me anymore. Things I did asked by the Rockstar Support:

• reinstalled the game and Social Club multiple times
  
• deleted game files in AppData/Local/Rockstar Games/GTA V and Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club
  
• deleted C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncher.exe and restored via Steam option Verify integrity of game files
  
• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow multiple times
  
• uninstalled another app, which should be responsible for network timeouts/blocking
  
• switching to story mode/second character
  
• submitted the export of msinfo32 including crash reports to the support
  
• changed firewall settings
  

Things I tried myself:

• played in Safe Mode
  
• changed graphics settings
  
• removed OC
  
• updated to latest Nvidia driver (436.15)
  
• updated Windows 10
  
• checked the event log, but there is no entry
  
• executed memtest86 without problems
  
• made a stress test with FurMark without problems
  

I don't have expierenced similar problems in other games/apps.

System configuration:

• i5-6600K
  
• 16 GB RAM
  
• Nvidia GeForce GTX 780
  

Temperature is always OK.
