    Hi guys. I checked the BIOS settings and AHCI is enable - I was wrong to say I disabled it.
    @asusG, yes, windows recognizes the 16GB of RAM. (15.9 actually.)

    At times I think I'm just driving myself (and everyone of you as well) crazy for nothing, but then I bring my laptop and lay it infornt of the PC - and the performance difference is noticable.

    Also, I did run CrystalDiskMark and the results look right (if we compare them to the data published on Intels' web-site.) But then again, if you look at the video I posted - when I try to extract a ZIP file, it builds speed VERY slow (and at times even falls to a 0 and stops completely.) I'm not sure it should behave like that :\

    I think I'll just wait for the graphics card to arrive and see, maybe it has something to do with the iGPU\drivers. Perhaps a descrete GPU will work better. It'll take some time for it to arrive, but I'll update then.

    If anyone has any other suggestion - feel free to reply, I'm happy to try anything.
