Windows 10: New PC Install Without files Syncing from other PC

Hi,I've just setup a new pc, and logged into our Outlook account for work so I can access work email and also Microsoft 365 but it has downloaded all the Desktop shortcuts and files from my brothers PC which shares the same Outlook login - I don't want to share his desktop. I want a clean install. To remove the desktop files without deleting them from his PC also, do I have to do a factory reset or can I backup from my old pc also same Outlook login? If I have to do a new install how do I go about it without the same thing happening again?Richard

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

syncing images to pc & back to iphone

Hey there I have a bit of a dilemma. I want to do this:

1. sync images from my iphone to my pc
2. run jpegmini on the images that are now on my pc from my phone
3. replace the existing images on the iphone and icloud with the new smaller compressed images to save space and avoid cloud conflicts with the same files with different file sizes

Surely this probably isn't as straight-forward as those steps above, right? Any feedback on what to do differently than the above or should I just stick with the above?
