Windows 10: New PC, it is October 2020, may 2020 update v2004 does not install. Please Microsoft, tell...

I did a clean windows 10 install.


My PC is right now:


Ryzen 7 3800x,

32G ram,

nvidia gtx 1060, I have an rtx 2060 also

2 1TB M2 SSD,

Asus B550F motherboard


Then I tried to update to may 2020 v2004

I got this:






And yeah, I have seen this

web page, it has no issue listed relating to my PC hardware.


I mean they should at least give a reason why the may 2020 update v2004 cannot be installed on my new PC.


The new World of Warcraft client explicitly states you have to have may 2020 update if you wanna enable the

ray tracing shadows eg. rtx 2000 or 3000 series nvidia card, other games may require it too.


Please, please inform us WHY may 2020 update cannot be installed.


Please tell us which hardware/software component that should cause

I could replace a component if you tell me, I cannot do anything if I left in the dark.

This issue is important,

I think we, customers, should be informed.

• Microsoft is improving Windows Release Notes. For more information, please see What's next for Windows release notes.
• For information regarding enabling Windows 10, version 1909 features, please see Windows 10, version 1909 delivery options. Note that Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909 share a common core operating system with an identical set of system files. They will
  also share the same security update KBs.
• Windows 10 updates are cumulative. The monthly security release includes all security fixes for vulnerabilities that affect Windows 10, in addition to non-security updates. The updates are available via the Microsoft
  Update Catalog.

On 09th June 2020, Microsoft released another Windows Servicing Stack Update KB4560366 windows 10 client v2004 and to windows 10 server v2004.
