Windows 10: New PC password locked right after activation

I purchased a new pc with Win11 Pro. When adding MS account, I used my GoDaddy provided email address with Office 365 - went to 'organizations sign in page'Account successfully added with email password - MFA through the Outlook app on associated phoneEverything looked okWhen PC restarted, Password is rejected - tried many times!New PC is in devices on MS account when logged in to MS account on other devicePassword change says 'we ran into a problem' - old password on MS account does not workPC is unable to be unlockedHELP!

• Click Accounts; then, Sign-In Options.
• Tap the Change button in the Password section.
• Re-enter your password; then, create a new password.

• On the Windows search bar, type in Netplwiz and select the top most result.This window gives you access to Windows user accounts and many password controls.
• Right at the top is a checkmark next to the option labeled Users must enter a username and password to use this computer.
  Uncheck that.
• Click Apply and it will prompt you for your current password. Enter it twice. The next time you reboot, or your PC wakes up from a nap, you’ll no longer need to type in your password.
