Windows 10: New PC with Win 11 - Win 11 not displaying correctly on Philips TV

I am usins a Philips 40PFL4706/F7 TV as the primary monitr. This was connected to a Win 10 PC w/celeron, 8gb RAM using internal Intel GPU and it was working fine. New PC has Intel I-5 11th Gen 16 gb RAM using internal Intel GPU. Display setting automatically set to 1920x1280.Task shows below bottom edge of screen and both sides off the screen. I lowed the resolution 2 sizes but it is still off the screen. Device Manager shows Generic PnP Monitor, but in Settings Display shows as a Philips FTV. Cant's find any drivers that work correctly. not sure if this is a display driver problem or displa

Win 11

Do I have to get a new computer to get Win 11 as mine won't download Win 11 . Since Win 11 came out I am having problems. I have Windows 10

 

Win 11 compat app

Both your CPU and graphics card should be ok- your CPU is on the list:
Windows 11 CPU List Released | WePC

and your graphics card is new enough to support DirectX 12.

These requirements are set by the installer of Win 11. Detailed specs for Win 11 have been released by MS and are given in other such threads here and on elevenforum, but may change slightly before official release.

 

Win 11 Not able to cast/connect to my FRAME TV (Samsung)

Hi Louie,

I was able to do the first 3 steps ( still cannot connect).

Couldn’t do the 4 th as wondering if I need to look elsewhere as I have Win 11.

I checked on my laptop and I have been using Win 11 the entire time ( got it at Christmas). So frustrating - you would hope it would be easier to share on my TV.

Any other thoughts??
