Windows 10: New product key required for new Microsoft account?

Hi.

Wanted to ask if you NEED a new product key for a new Microsoft account?

Suppose the digital license is advertised on abc@outlook.de and he changes the name to XYZ and makes a Microsoft account with xyz@outlook.de.

In such a case, do I NEED a new product key for this digital license?

How to replace old Microsoft Account with a new Microsoft Account

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and I am glad to assist you.

I would suggest you to switch your Microsoft account to a Local account first and then switch back with a new Microsoft account. Please refer to the following steps:

Step 1:

• Type Manage your accounts
  in the search bar and click on it
• Click on "sign in with a local account instead"
• Press next and complete the process.
• If you do not have a local account, leave the credentials blank and proceed.

Step 2: Now, on the newly converted Local account, follow these steps to add a new MSA.

1. In the Start search, type "Manage your accounts" and press Enter.

2. Choose 'Accounts'.

3. Click on "sign in with a local account instead"

4. Enter the Microsoft account ID and Password and click Next.

Cannot Activate New Product Key

Just set up a new rig and bought a new Windows 10 Home, installed. Problem is my windows isn't activated and when I try to with my product key, i get this error 0xc004f050. I know this is the correct one and I have the receipt in my Microsoft account. Any
suggestions?

Transferring an old product key to a new system

I could use some clarification on how product keys work, it's been a long time since I had to think about windows installations.

I've been using the same copy of windows for a long time, I've upgraded it from windows 7 to windows 10, but have had the same product key for a long time.

The issue is that I got this product key before I had a Microsoft account, and before product keys were required to be associated to a Microsoft account. Now that I've bought a new system, I'd prefer to transfer this copy of windows over, but I can't use
my product key again on the new system. Is there a way to transfer it over, despite the product key not being associated to a Microsoft account, or am I out of luck and need to buy a new copy of windows?
