  2. surface go 3 with last win 11 update don,t show copilot at all

Thank you very much for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm more than happy to assist you.

The issue you're experiencing with Copilot not showing up on your Surface Go 3 despite having the latest Windows 11 Insider update can be attributed to several factors. Here are some steps and considerations to help you troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Controlled Feature Release (CFR)

Copilot in Windows 11 is a Controlled Feature Release (CFR), meaning it is not available to all users simultaneously. It is gradually rolled out and may not be visible on all devices immediately.

    2. Ensure Latest Updates

Make sure your device has the latest updates installed. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates. Enable the option Get the latest updates as soon as they are available.

    3. Microsoft Account

Ensure you are signed in with a Microsoft account rather than a local account. This is crucial for accessing certain features like Copilot.

    4. Regional Settings

Copilot is initially available in specific regions. If you are not in one of these regions, you might need to change your regional settings to a supported area (e.g., North America, parts of Asia, and South America).

    5. Taskbar Settings

Check if the Copilot icon is enabled in the taskbar settings:

    • Right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar settings.
    • Look for the Show Copilot (preview) button and ensure it is enabled.
    6. Windows Insider Program

If you are part of the Windows Insider Program, ensure you are in the correct channel (Canary, Dev, or Beta) that supports the latest features. Note that switching channels might not be possible if you are already on a higher build number.

    7. Known Issues and Fixes

There have been reports of Copilot disappearing or not functioning correctly in some builds. Microsoft is aware of these issues and is working on fixes. Ensure your system is updated to the latest build that includes these fixes.

    8. Manual Activation

Some users have tried manually activating Copilot using the Run command:

    • Press Win + R and enter microsoft-edge://?ux=copilot&tcp=1&source=taskbar. This should open Copilot in Microsoft Edge, though it may not work for all users.
    9. Check for Feature Availability

Refer to the official Microsoft support page for any additional steps or updates regarding the availability and activation of Copilot.

If you have followed all these steps and still do not see Copilot, it might be worth waiting for the feature to be fully rolled out to your device.

Please feel free to reach out if you require any additional assistance. I'm here to help!
