Windows 10: New spdif sound card won't do surround correctly

So I got this new sound card being a creative sound blaster ae-5 plus. I've noticed that it's playing sound through all the speakers like ambient audio from games or videos. But when it comes to voices or other main audio it's only the front speakers that work correctly and only real powerful bass makes the sub work. Is there any real reason as to why this is the case or am I just stuck with having to make do? My main pc hardware consists of an i9 11900kf, asrock z590 motherboard, and a msi 3060 12gb. I don't have the option of using a hdmi for audio and my cable had decided it likes it's new

spdif is limited to 2.0 channels.

spdif only outputs 5.1 from something like Dolby Digital from DVD's.

It is a licensing issue. People were able to use hacked drivers before but Microsoft stopped that hack.

So there is nothing to fix.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
