Windows 10: NEW SSD, EVERYTIME I DOWNLOAD ANY TYPE OF FILE IT RESULTS TO NETWORK ERROR

i bought a new SSD external hard drive it is 2tb and completely working, but i have a problem every time i download any type of file always results in network error example i downloading genshin, when the download is in progress, the genshin window/tav suddenly freeze few seconds then says network error this is also the case in valorant img files and even when i set google download destination to the SSD drive, anything i download result to network error or download error, please help

Downloaded files disappear


When you download a file through any browser, there's an option somewhere to 'Open Containing Folder.'

In Windows, to find a file you have downloaded...

1. Open your personal folder by clicking the Start button and then clicking your user name at the top of the Start menu's right pane.
   
2. Double-click one of the following folders:
   
   • Downloads
     
   • Documents
     
   • Pictures
     
   • Videos
     
   • Music

If you do not see the file you are looking for, but know its file name, you can search for it by following these steps:
To search for a file you have downloaded...

1. Click the Start button
   
2. Type all or part of the file name into the Search box.
   The file you are looking for will appear in the list of results.

 

SSD storage keeps filling up on its own

There's a possibility that the files are just hidden. As an initial troubleshooting, we suggest following the steps below on how to display hidden files that's eating space of your SSD:

• On the Search bar, type folder, and then select
  Show hidden files and folders from the search results.
• Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives,
  and then select OK.

It is possible that the issue is due to permission error of your
HomeGroup. We suggest that you run the
HomeGroup Troubleshooter
and check if there are any changes. To run the
Troubleshooter, follow
these steps:

• 
  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Choose
  Network and Internet.
  
• 
  Click on
  HomeGroup to run the troubleshooter.
