  1. New SSD takes me back to Bios

Hello my computer after assessing a SSD CARD takes me back to bios. I have an MSI click bios 5. Looks like it wants my computer to restart and add the usb with windows but it’s told me that I don’t have a media driver. When I have both ssd and hard drive. I’m re downloading si does on the usb now to make sure they aren’t corrupted files. Any other advice ?

    :)

Windows 10 SSD Boot and Sleep faliure

Windows cannot stop the BIOS recognising the SSD. If at any time you can go into the BIOS and the SSD is not listed then you have an (intermittent) hardware fault. It does not matter what the precursor steps are if the hardware was OK it must be listed

Step 6 is categorical, you have a hardware fault. BIOS device recognition is always before drivers load so they cannot affect the process

  4. New SSD takes me back to Bios

New windows 10 installtion on New SSD - wont boot unless old SSD present

It seems you installed Windows while the both SSDs were connected. This would have caused your current problem. Maybe it is sufficient to do this:

    1. Launch the Disk Manager.
    2. Right-click drive C:, then mark it as "active".
    3. Shut down Windows
    4. Open the BIOS and tell it that the new SSD is the primary boot device.
    5. Disconnect the old SSD.
    6. Boot up normally.

If this does not work then you might have to do this:

    1. Disconnect the old SSD.
    2. Re-install Windows on the new SSD, using the Media Creation Tool.
