  2. Windows "C drive " is too slow.

Your hard drive may be failing. I am assuming that the computer is a notebook type.

    How old is the computer?

Do you always run it on a hard flat surface?

  3. Does Windows 10 come with a clear licence key, to overcome changes of hardware and/or having to a do a clean reinstall?

Ok, so I run clean reinstalls on my Windows machines more often than I clean my flat. That's partly because I like to buy new kit for them, especially hard disks, and partly because I'm too lazy to clean my flat.

I have reserved five copies of Windows 10, so far, based on owning way too much tech. One problem I had with Windows 8 was remembering what key went with what machine (I ordered a couple of DVDs on day one and kept forgetting which key was for which machine).

Will I get a key with each new copy of Windows 10, and will said key be locked into the tech that I started out with? Also, will there be an easy way for me to track this within Windows, or will noting down on paper which key links to which tech be my only
    option?
