Windows 10: NEW START MENU

I just want to know that why my pc had not got the latest start menu even i am using windows 10 2004 with OS build 20161 preview version with no pending updates.

Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?

How do ya add to window start menu?

Thanks for the link. What I'm trying to do is putting a new folder into the light blue area of the start menu. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/personalize/menus.mspx the example on this link lists the user as "Administator"
