    Can I have a new style in word as standard for all employees when opening Word?

    Changing the default font on Microsoft Word 2010 has no effect on new pages

    Perform the following steps to set the default font for new Microsoft Word 2010 documents.

    1. Right click the "Normal" Style on the Home ribbon and click Modify.
    2. Change the font to Times New Roman, 12 (or whatever you would prefer).
    3. Select the "New documents based on this template" option.
    4. Click OK
    5. Close and reopen Microsoft Word to confirm.

    For Microsoft Excel, perform these steps:

    1. Select File menu, Options item.
    2. Select the General category.
    3. Change "When creating new workbooks, use this font"
    4. Click OK to confirm
    5. Restart Microsoft Excel as instructed.

    Word 2016 Styles not working

    Sure. I have heard this same thing many times. Yours may work, mine does not.

    I have been using styles in Word for many years. Below I was clicking on Body Text 2 and Body Text 2 +16 pt Bold appeared out of nowhere and only changed the single word in the paragraph. Every version of Word including 2016 until I upgrade to 16.06.6366.2036
    when I click on a Style that style is the one used and changes the whole paragraph. Been doing since since Word has been around.

    The more I use Styles with this version, the more it jumps to another Style usually above the one I click on. Hence the reason it appears to be a bug in at least my release. The more I click, the more Word decides on its own to use another style. Why? No
    idea.
