Windows 10: New Surface Pro Firmware Update - July 13, 2017

Made the mistake that this firmware update was for the Surface Pro 4......it only applies to the recently released version Surface Pro......somewhat surprised they did not call it Surface Pro 5.

What Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Code: 15e means ?

I got the same thing on 7/15/2017

I think I only had edge open and a command prompt but I could be wrong.

the only thing I know that changed was the july 13 firmware update

for the new surface pro. so far it has only happened once.

I am having exactly the same issue.

This is on a work Dell PC.

Have successfully installed on a Surface Pro, Macbook Pro running bootcamp and iMac using Parallels.

Most annoying...

The above was installed in the background whilst browsing without my prior knowledge, only notified when I came to shutdown which stated needed a restart to fully install....nevertheless thanks for the update.
