    'send document to email recipient' option for Mail App

    Having the same issue and spending ridiculous time on it....

    You need to download an "email client" whatever that is.

    I did it with Thunderbird (free)

    You can associate it with your regular email (so no need to add a new one)

    and then you need to go back to Windows Settings and select Thunderbird as your default email client
