Windows 10: New TV Screen is flashing when extending display

So I just brought and set up a new TV. My old TV (which for reference sake was 1080p) was often used to extend the display to be used as a second monitor on my laptop (which is also 1080p).

I've set up my new TV now, and I'm using the same HDMI cable to connect them. However, the new TV (which is 4k) keeps flickering on for a second before going off again. I have no idea what causes this. There is also no flickering on my laptop screen.

I've tried setting the refresh rate to 30 Hertz rather than 60, which keeps it stable, but this makes the screen appear small despite a high resolution (in the sense the windows taskbar and other applications are much larger than what it was on my old TV, but is still a high resolution). For the brief moment that the screen flickers on when it's on any refresh rate above 30 Hertz, it also looks large with a high resolution.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: I just opened up a full-screen game on the TV in 30Hz. Everything looks normal, but the in-game cursor is about four times as small. I don't know if that means anything useful but I thought I'd add it.

Extending my screen to three TV displays

Hi! So here’s my issue: my church just got 3 TVs to use for worship lyrics/announcements/etc. We got two of them first last week and they worked perfectly! We connected them to an HDMI splitter and
then the splitter to the computer. I extended the computer’s display to show the lyrics on the TV while I managed our live stream on the computer and everything went smooth. Then this week we got the third one in and tried to connect it to the splitter. We
assumed it would just function like the other two. It did not. When all three TVs are set to the same HDMI input the third TV overrides the other two so that the extended display only shows on it and the other two TVs just say "no input". When the third one
was set to a different HDMI than the other two they all showed the lyrics but I could not extend the display so that I can still use the computer while the lyrics are up. It was just showing my computer display so when I tried to switch tabs to check the stream
it showed everything I was doing on the TVs. We need to be able to have the lyrics extended to the three TVs and also be able to check on our live stream on the computer without it showing up on the screens. Like I said, we were able to do that with the two
TVs but when we added the third it messed it all up. We are desperate to get some help soon! Thanks in advance for any advice you have!

Extended display

I use Win10's extended display to watch movies etc played on pc (shown on tv) but problem is that if I use full screen program which uses lower resolution than on desktop or reboot computer (normal or bsod reboots) or disable and enable extended display
then stuff on desktop gets moved on tv screen and has to be dragged back to win 10's desktop so question is how do I prevent stuff moved on tv screen? Computer display is selected as primary display but seems that it doesn't do anything.
