Windows 10: New TV won’t connect after changing resolution

Hi,Recently I purchased a new Samsung TV and went to hook it up to my PC NVIDIA Graphics Card. All worked fine but i went into my display settings to mess with them as I always do, and tried to up the resolution. It proceeded to glitch a little when i pressed keep changes but now every time i try to plug in the tv my computer starts making the sound of it disconnecting and reconnecting over and over, it also lags my computer out and has my main monitor flicker. My TV just says nothing is connected. I have tried resetting my display settings and deleting the device in control panel but nothin

Laptopc can´t connect to TV

Please reply to the questions mentioned below in order to assist you in a better way.

• Are you connecting the PC and TV using a HDMI cable?
• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• First you need a video cable for making the physically connection. For better picture quality, you should connect the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via the DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.
• Open the "display settings" in your computer and activate output to the TV screen. You can either mirror content of your computer on the TV or extend the display just like a dual monitor screen.
• Pick up your TV remote and switch to "External Inputs" from the menu. You will need to change the default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "Video 2" depending on how you have made the connection.

Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer as sometimes it may fail to recognize external display.

You may also need to change the screen resolution of your TV using the Display settings in your Control Panel else the picture may appear distorted.

Please revert if you face any issues with PC not connecting to TV.

 

HMDI & WIreless Project to Smart-TV won´t work

Hi There,

I have a few problems. and have even reinstall windows but it just won´t work anymore

1. HDMI to Connect Tv.

I tried different ports cables. But getting "NO SIGNAL".

When i disconnect the power cable i suddenly have kindoff connection, but it´s not stable, It keeps going black. and has Noise on the left side.

On my Sons it works just fine. It´s the same TV only smaller version.

2. WIreless Project . Here same i keep getting could´nt connect. and sometimes suddenly at the settings tab it says it does not support miracast. and some moments later it does... !

It is really weird.

It has always worked just fine. So i don´t know whats the problem.

My son has the same Notebook, and has no problems.

Both have been reinstalled because of new Harddrive.

And mine just won´t work anymore. on this subject.

Please help.

 

TV resolution problem

1920x1080 is the standard resolution for TV's in full HD.

• Have you tried changing the resolution of the monitor through Intel HD Graphics Control Panel?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, go to Intel HD Graphics Control Panel and try changing the resolution to get the best picture and size of the video displayed on your monitor.
